Pendampingan Penyusunan Pembelajaran Berdiferensiasi Kurikulum Merdeka bagi Guru Kimia MGMP Kota Semarang

Purpose: Implementation of the Merdeka Curriculum in Indonesia in 2020 has not been effective or optimal. Most teachers are still trying to adapt, and some still have difficulty implementing learning with the Merdeka Curriculum and differentiated learning. The purpose of this service activity was to improve teachers' understanding and skills in implementing differentiated learning. Methodology: This community activity program was conducted through assistance consisting of lectures, discussions, and workshops. The success of the activity can be seen in the assessment of learning tools and the filling out of questionnaires. Results: Based on the results of problem identification, this service activity aims to improve the ability of differentiated learning design and the availability of various sample devices for different chemical materials. The activities included: (1) deepening of chemical literature through lectures and discussions, (2) seminars on analyzing CP, TP, and ATP, (3) seminars on preparing different learning needs, and (4) workshops on preparing learning modules. Limitations: The number of participants in the service program was limited. The participants came from MGMP Kimia Semarang for approximately 30 people. The results may be different for other participants. Contribution: Improving the knowledge and skills of chemistry teachers in Semarang City to design differentiated learning for the Merdeka Curriculum.

Peningkatan Literasi Hijau Menuju Desa Wisata Muara Tiga Kecamatan Mulak Ulu

Purpose: Community services aim to enhance literacy in green tourist villages in Muara Tiga Village, Mulak Ulu Subdistrict, and Lahat Regency with a focus on rural economic development. Method: Community service activities were conducted in Muara Tiga Village, Mulak Ulu Subdistrict, Lahat Regency, involving the following steps: (1) identification of village issues and potential; (2) consultation with the subdistrict and village authorities regarding the community service plan; (3) socialization of community service activities in Muara Tiga Village, Mulak Ulu Subdistrict, and Lahat Regency; (4) Green Tourist Village Literacy Training; and (5) Empowering the community to develop the tourist village. Results/Findings: The community service activities, particularly the training on "green tourist village literacy," have improved knowledge and understanding of (1) tourist village concepts, (2) green tourist village concepts, (3) natural resources that can be utilized as tourist attractions, and (4) factors determining the success of tourist villages. Limitations: This study found that participants were not ready to understand literacy material because of their low level of education. Contribution: After participating in this training, the community developed the potential of the village to become a tourist village.

Sosialisasi dan Pendampingan Table Manner untuk Anak-Anak Difabel

Purpose: This social activity aims to help children with disabilities build better selves by Improving Social Skills, Increasing Self-Confidence, Improving Quality of Life. Methodology: The method used in this community service activity is carried out in several stages: preparation, program planning, material development, activity implementation, evaluation and feedback, reporting, and documentation. Results: The results obtained from community service activities with the theme Table manner training for disabled children show that disabled children can experience improved social skills, such as the ability to communicate better, interact with other people, and understand the norms of social behavior. In addition, by gaining an understanding of eating etiquette and improving table manners skills, children with disabilities can feel more confident when dining at restaurants, formal meetings, and social events. Limitation: The limitation in this social activity is that the length of time for carrying out the table-manner activity is very limited, considering that this activity is carried out at a hotel in Cirebon City, and the time is limited according to the rental price of the place at the hotel. Contribution: Socialization activities and Table-manner assistance have an important contribution to efforts to build better selves for children with disabilities. Through Table manner assistance, children with disabilities can learn how to eat properly, arrange eating utensils, and behave politely while eating. This can increase their independence in daily life. Socialization activities and Table-manner assistance can also increase social awareness among UCIC Cirebon student lecturers. They can better understand the needs of children with disabilities and become advocates in the community.

Pelatihan Pembuatan Media Ajar Pintu Lestari Indonesia (PITARIA) sebagai Alat Peraga untuk Memperkenalkan Budaya Indonesia pada IGTKI-PGRI Kabupaten Tanggamus

Purpose: This activity aims to, (1) improve the abilities and skills of teachers who are members of Ikatan Guru Taman Kanak-Kanak – Persatuan Guru Republik Indonesia (IGTKI-PGRI) in Tanggamus Regency in creating and developing innovative teaching media, (2) introducing regional culture through more innovative learning media, (3) making the process of introducing culture more interesting and attractive for students Methodology:  This community service program is carried out in the form of training to groups (IGTKI-PGRI) for Tanggamus Regency. Activities were carried out by: (1) socialization about innovative learning media conducted by Aisyah Pringsewu University Lecturers, (2) Training on Skills in making Pintu Lestari Indonesia (PITARIA) teaching media using makeshift materials to produce interesting learning media, (3) implementing the use of PITARIA teaching media in the classroom directly to see students' interest in PITARIA teaching media. Result: This training results in an increased understanding of the use of creative and innovative teaching media, as well as improved teacher skills in making interesting and innovative learning media to make learning about culture easier for students to understand. Limitation: The program's sustainability could be limited if there is no plan in place for ongoing support, training, or resource provision after the initial program period. Contributions: This community service program is able to provide results under its initial purpose, which is to help improve teachers’ skills in making teaching media and introducing regional culture.

Penguatan Daya Saing UMKM melalui Pelatihan Manajemen Kualitas

Purpose: This community service activity aims to help SMEs to understand the concept and practice of product/service quality management. This topic is important because the sustainability and growth of enterprises can be created through strategic quality management activities. There are 22 SMEs in Sadang Serang, Bandung, Indonesia is involved in this activity. Method: The service-learning method was conducted through surveys, training, and evaluations. Results: The results of this activity were measured in four aspects: reaction, learning, behavior, and results. Participants provided positive feedback. This can be seen from the start of the registration until the completion of the activity. Participants also gained enhanced knowledge of the concepts shown in the pre-test and post-test scores. Participant enthusiasm can also be seen in their engagement in discussions and willingness to ask questions. Ten days after the training activity, they were surveyed to determine their behavioral changes. It was found that 50% of participants created standard operating procedures/SOPs after taking training. Limitations: Community service activities are conducted only through training. We were unable to conduct further activities, such as visits, due to time and energy constraints. After the training, only an online survey was used as a follow-up activity. Contributions: Quality management provides SMEs with a competitive advantage. This community service activity is expected to solve community problems and support SMEs in strengthening the business ecosystem around it and boosting Indonesian economic growth.

Pemberdayaan Santri melalui Budidaya Lele dengan Kolam Terpal di Pondok Pesantren Al Khusna, Dlingo, Bantul

Purpose: The purpose of this program is to create self-reliance, strengthen the economy, and improve students’ entrepreneurial skills. This is also based on utilizing the land around the boarding school, the effectiveness of implementation (which is quite reliable), and the benefits that can be felt by the boarding school. Methodology: This study used a participation action research approach with the author participating in the implementation of the program. The stages of implementation use the PDCA Model, which stands for the Plan-Do-Check-Act, the stages of quality development. Result: This empowerment program is carried out through six stages: planning, which consists of field observations and formulation of program objectives; the second stage of implementation, which involves conducting training and workshops on catfish farming and direct practice; and the third stage, which is carried out by monitoring care and maintenance, including feeding, cleaning the pond, and maintaining water quality. Fourth, follow-up, namely by developing tarpaulin ponds, maintaining and caring for catfish ponds, making organic feed, and becoming a motivator for the surrounding community. Limitation: This article focused on empowering students by developing a tarpaulin catfish farming system that was limited to harvesting and not continuing to sell. Contribution: This study contributes to the development of empty land by Pondok Pesantren Al Khusna. Increasing the knowledge and insight of students in catfish farming. Helping provides food to an Islamic boarding school environment.

Smart Health Village berbasis Web sebagai Media Informasi Kejadian Bencana

Purpose: The aim of community services was to socialize and inform Balakarcana officers to report information about disaster events. Disaster-prone areas have the potential for natural disasters such as earthquakes, mountain eruptions, and landslides caused by activity or movement from the bottom of the earth. Understanding the potential for natural disasters in each region is an anticipatory step toward minimizing the number of victims of natural disasters. Precise and accurate information is required for disaster management. The community also experiences difficulties in receiving information and submitting reports on the village conditions. In this community service activity, a web-based smart health village application was developed so that it could be accessed by all residents of the local area. Methodology: The method of implementing this activity consists of the design stage, application creation, system design, outreach and training, and trial reporting of information on disaster events based on the smart health village concept in the Poncokusumo Region, Malang Regency, from July to October 2023. Results: This service is an application system for reporting information on disaster events to increase community preparedness for disasters. This web-based application system allows the community (users), admins (task force), and verifiers (village officials) to access anywhere and at any time, thereby increasing the capability and quality of human resources in disaster preparedness and disaster-prone areas. Limitations: People who do not have Internet access experience difficulties in receiving information and submitting reports regarding village conditions. Contribution: Utilization of web-based information systems to make it easier for village officials to validate disaster events and as an effort to improve disaster preparedness.

Perubahan Perilaku Pengelolaan Sampah Rumah Tangga di Desa Sialang Rindang, Puskesmas Tambusai, Rokan Hulu

Purpose: This community service is conducted with the aim of increasing community understanding, which will build perceptions and take positive action in managing household waste. Methodology/approach: Community service activities were conducted in Sialang Rindang Village, the working area of the Tambusai Health Center, Rokan Hulu Regency, from November 27 to December 14, 2023. The stages of implementing community service activities began with a pre-test to measure participants' abilities and understanding of household waste management. Subsequently, several interventions were conducted, including outreach, aimed at increasing public understanding and awareness. At the end of the program, a post-test was conducted to determine the level of success in implementing community services. Results/findings: Community service activities begin by deepening the information/evidence base on waste management problems and coordinating community service plans. The results of the field study showed that household waste management only involves the accumulation and burning of waste. Based on the initial information, verification efforts were carried out for further service in the form of counseling/socialization on household waste management for housewives whose activities were focused on the Integrated Healthcare Center. Another service effort is community empowerment through (STBM) cadres to realize community independence in managing household waste. To foster public interest and awareness, a trigger is needed for the community so that waste management efforts can produce products, and waste management assistance is carried out using the 3R method. The waste produced can be managed well and produces products of economic value. Contribution: This research contributes to the literature in the form of attitude change based on an in-depth understanding. This effort allows for attitudes and actions based on continuous understanding. Limitations: The limitations of this service in ongoing monitoring and evaluation are not carried out directly by researchers but by health services.

Edukasi TPS 3R Darul Aman dan Masyarakat dalam Optimasi Pembuatan Pupuk Kompos di Pondok Pesantren Darul Aman, Gombara, Makassar, Sulawesi Selatan

Purpose: Helping TPS 3R partners to solve the problem of managing waste into compost is efficient and effective. Methodology: carried out at TPS 3R Darul Aman, method of implementing innovation by increasing the quantity and quality of compost using EM4 (effective microorganism) to accelerate the decomposition of organic matter and the ability to provide nutrients for plants. Results: improvement in soil management into compost and compost quality. Community service has been carried out involving TPS3R Darul Aman partners by providing education on making compost. Limitations: No study covers all aspects. Authors are advised to explain research limitations, as well as further studies or future plans. Contribution: The agricultural sector in the use of compost and the lack of TPS3R employees makes the waste management process difficult.

Pendampingan Membaca Al-Qur’an bagi Majelis Taklim Annisa Persit Kota Jayapura – Papua

Purpose: This assistance is based on the presence of mothers in a community of the Taklim Council in reading the Qur'an is still not fluent. So that the implementation of this assistance will be addressed to the Mothers of the Annisa Persit Taklim Council in Jayapura City Methodology: Assistance in community service activities was carried out using planning, training, and mentoring methods. So that the method will produce changes Results: The results of this community service activity show that the implementation of the Quran recitation assistance program for the Mothers of the Annisa Persit Taklim Council went smoothly from the networking stage to its implementation.For example, the enthusiasm of mothers to participate in activities, then the teaching and learning process carried out, to assistance as well as practice in reading and reciting the Quran. Furthermore, judging from the success of the ability, it can be seen the seriousness of mothers to participate in this activity so that there can be seen developments in reading and reciting the Quran, even though it is not significant for participants who follow it. Limitations: A limitation of this activity is that its implementation is not sustainable. The limitations of participants in participating in mentoring activities to read the Quran. Contribution: Contribution to this activity is to help Muslims properly and correctly read the Quran. Thus, someone who wants to learn Islam is not only in one particular field but as a whole. This activity also helps mothers who still lack knowledge about the rules in reading the Quran to change their understanding.

Diversifikasi Pendapatan Berbasis Bioteknologi Memanfaatkan Energy Baru Terbarukan pada Kelompok Koi Lovers di Desa Bongopini

Purpose: Bongopini Village is a village in Tilongkabila District, Bone Bolango Regency, Gorontalo Province. It has four hamlets with a population of 1,425. There are 5 groups of freshwater fisheries cultivation with a total of 24 land pond plots with an area of approximately 10 ha. Koi Lovers Farm is one of the fish cultivator groups that specializes in cultivating koi fish Methodology: The Community Partnership Program at the Koi Lovers Farm in Bongopini village, Tilongkabila District, Bone Bolango Regency, is a community service program that aims to help koi fish breeders and the community in diversifying their biotechnology-based income by utilizing new and renewable energy to improve community welfare. Programs that have been implemented include providing knowledge and skills in business management, Koi fish cultivation management training, Training and practice in making a Recirculating Aquaculture System (RAS) using solar energy, Income diversification training in the form of an aquaponic system and providing assistance for koi fish broodstock for hatching, Results: several stages of evaluation were carried out after the activity was carried out, such as evaluation from activity partners, 83.34% of the partner group understands the purpose of income diversification. There has been an increase in partner products by 100% who previously only tried koi fish, increased by hydroponic vegetables, and as many as 83.33% of partners strongly agree that cultivating lettuce plants can provide additional income for them, as well as additional partner income of IDR 600,000. Limitation: hydroponic farming activities require extra care, apart from coinciding with the rainy season, it also requires more time to control the water in the hydroponic installation. Contribution: The Koi Lovers group actively participates in the activities carried out, with the knowledge that has been given they have been able to operate hydroponic installations independently to increase their income.

Peningkatan Kapasitas Komunikasi Kader dalam Upaya Menurunkan Angka Stunting di Kecamatan Bayongbong

Purpose: This community service activity aims to reduce the stunting rate in Bayongbong District by increasing cadres' communication skills in providing information about health to the community because cadres play an important role in socializing health programs to the community. Methodology: The activity methods used include: 1) the preparation stage, namely approaching the target audience, which begins with carrying out observations first, obtaining permission from the relevant agencies, and providing initial motivation to cadres who take part in service activities; and 2) the program implementation stage, which includes lectures, case studies, discussions, and the final evaluation stage. Results: The results of this service showed positive results by achieving knowledge and understanding of cadres related to the application of effective communication in conveying good information to the public. Cadres as participants in this activity expressed their readiness to convey health information to the public through effective communication strategies. Limitations: Health workers and related agencies need to play a role in socializing health programs to increase the credibility of the information conveyed to the public. Therefore, collaborative efforts are needed among government institutions, community leaders, and cadres. Contributions: This community service increases the communication capacity of cadres to inform the community about health programs.

Pelatihan Analisis Rasch untuk MGMP Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam SMP/MTs Kabupaten Sumenep

Purpose: The community service aims to enhance Natural Science teachers’ knowledge related to learning assessment and their skills in processing data using Rasch analysis. Methodology/approach: The community service runs as hybrid training (offline and online) for a teacher community called a Natural Science MGMP, which included 34 Junior High School Natural Science Teachers in the Sumenep Regency. This activity was carried out as training and mentoring for two days, where participants learned Rasch analysis based on theory and practice. They were then required to fill in the pretest and post-test to obtain data regarding participants’ knowledge and skills related to this training. Results: The results of the pre-test and post-test were analyzed using the paired t-test for the knowledge aspect. There was a significant increase after being given Rasch analysis material, since the standard deviation of the post-test was higher than that of the pre-test. On the other hand, the skill aspect also showed a significant increase after Rasch analysis, with a higher standard deviation after treatment. Furthermore, the N-Gain Score was used to determine the extent to which participants’ knowledge and skills differed after training in the Rasch analysis. Limitations: This community service has several limitations including technical problems and participants. Some participants found it difficult to install and operate Ministep/Winstep because such software is not compatible with their device or new software. Moreover, several teachers did not fill in the pre-test and post-test; hence, it was difficult to assess their progress after the training. Contribution: This program can contribute to improving Natural Science teachers’ knowledge and skills in learning assessment, especially for teachers in Sumenep Regency.

Penerapan Digitalpreneurship pada UMKM Kelurahan Krobokan Semarang

Purpose: The purpose of this activity is to provide education regarding digital entrepreneurship to MSMEs to be better prepared to run their businesses effectively and maintain their sustainability. Methodology/approach: The Community Service Team is developing digital-based MSMEs (Digitalpreneurship) by increasing the digital skills of business owners/workers and providing socialization for the implementation of platform selection strategies as online marketing media. In addition, we conducted a questionnaire survey to determine the extent to which MSME practitioners were able to understand counseling and their desire to apply it to their business. Results/findings: The result of this activity is that most MSME owners in Krobokan Village have implemented digital-based businesses (digitalpreneurship). However, when applying digital entrepreneurship, business actors do not make optimal preparations, including digital skills and platform strategies. These two variables are among the basic needs to maintain the sustainability of digital-based businesses. Most MSMEs are self-taught while running digital businesses. After carrying out this service activity and based on the survey results, it was stated that MSME owners began to prepare for and correct deficiencies in carrying out digital entrepreneurship, especially in digital skills and platform strategies. Limitations:  The limitation of this community service activity is that it only focuses on improving digital skills for platform management and does not provide training on promotional strategies specifically for digital media.  Contribution: Counseling and training on digital skills and platform strategies in this community service activity can maintain the sustainability of MSMEs in Krobokan Village in the current digital era.

Peningkatan Kemampuan Masyarakat Desa Tirtonirmolo dalam Pengolahan Limbah Peternakan Menjadi Pupuk Organik

Purpose: Indonesia is an agricultural country and many people own livestock. Livestock produces solid manure waste that can be converted into organic fertilizers. Livestock waste has not been treated properly, so community service was conducted to overcome this issue. Community service activities were conducted in the form of training on livestock waste processing into solid organic fertilizer and liquid organic fertilizer for members of The Community Self-Reliance Agency (BKM) "Tirtorahayu" Tirtonirmolo Village, Kapanewon Kasihan, Bantul. The products are useful and have high economic value, so they also have the potential to improve the economy of the residents of Tirtonirmolo Village. Research methodology: Community Service activities in the form of socialization and training on the processing of livestock waste into solid organic fertilizer and liquid organic fertilizer for women and gentlemen from the Community Self-Reliance Agency (BKM) “Tirtorahayu” Kalurahan Tirtonirmolo, Kapanewon Kasihan, Bantul. Result: The implementation of community service activities was in the form of socialization and training on processing livestock waste into solid and liquid organic fertilizers. Livestock waste is converted into solid and liquid fertilizers. Limitations: Activities were conducted during the covid-19 pandemic, so there were limited participants to avoid crowding. There were also limited time and interactions with participants Contributions: The villagers were encouraged to improve their skills in handling livestock waste. They have the opportunity to earn income from the production of solid and liquid organic fertilizers.
