Praktik Baik Manajemen Menuju Usaha Mikro, Kecil dan Menengah (UMKM) Mandiri dan Produktif di Kampung Bulak Timur, Kelurahan Cipayung, Kota Depok, Jawa Barat

Purpose: to provide education to MSME business actors on good management practices in managing and determine MSME management models that can realize good management practices as an effort to improve MSME management performance. This management model contains aspects of company management, namely marketing management, production management, financial management, and human resource management. Method: The method used is to provide education and literacy about good managerial practices. The material provided includes general management and human resources, production management, financial management, and marketing management. In measuring the level of understanding of participants before giving the material and filling out the post-test after the material is given. In addition, questionnaires were filled out to develop participants' understanding of good management practices using analytical indexes. Results: The result of this study is an increase in understanding of management practices as seen from the increase in the average pre-test of 5.56, increasing in the post-test to 7.31. MSMEs actors understand the material provided on general management and human resources, production management, financial management, and marketing management. Based on the index analysis, the participants' level of understanding of the material on human resource management, marketing management, production management, and financial management is in the high category. Conclusions: Educational and literacy activities about good management practices can increase partners' knowledge about aspects of business management and can put this knowledge into practice in business progress.

Pemberdayaan Peningkatan Kapasitas Wirausaha Desa Melalui Pelatihan Pembuatan Rencana Bisnis

Purpose:  SMEs in Kerinjing Village are faced with the problem of lack of financing and guidance. Efforts are needed tp strengthen these SMEs in facing competition by providing entrepreneurial knowledge sucj as business ethics, handling customer amplaints, and financial management. This community service activity aims to increase the capacity of small business actors in Kerinjing Village. The activities carried out are in the form of business planning training that is beneficial for their business development. Method: The method used in this community service activity is counseling and training. Results: the results of this community service activity are: (1) providing and increasing knowledge about business plan training for SMEs.  (2) Increasing interest and desire in entrepreneurship, and (3) providing a forum for distributing products made from community crafts Conclusions: after the activity is carried out, the community gains knowledge, insight and understands the benefits of business planning training. The growing motivation of the community to carry out entrepreneurial activities in improving the welfare of the community.

Pelatihan Bahasa Inggris melalui Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) Mahasiswa Fakultas Ekonomi dan Bisnis Universitas Lampung

Purpose: This community service activity aims to provide knowledge and insight to students regarding strategies for dealing with questions in the TOEFL so that they can prepare for the real TOEFL test. The mastery of English skills especially TOEFL needs to be carried out as the alternative solution for students in preparing for graduation and working. Method: The methods used in this activity are training, coaching, monitoring, and evaluation. Results: This activity has achieved the expected goal of increasing students' knowledge and insight regarding the fast and appropriate way that can be applied in answering TOEFL questions. Conclusions: Based on tutorial observations for approximately 3 months of participating in TOEFL training, it shows that students' understanding in mastering the TOEFL material increased quite significantly.

Workshop Manajemen Pembelajaran Berbasis Digital bagi Guru SD di Kota Kulon Kabupaten Garut

Purpose: Digital-based learning management workshop is the existence of new knowledge that can be applied by teachers during the learning process with their students, especially making questions or quizzes using Google Classroom and Google Forms. The subjects of this workshop are the teachers of the State Elementary School 1 Kota Kulon, Garut Kota. Method: A digital-based learning workshop with 2 sessions, namely the presentation of material and the practice of using digital media. Results: Online learning workshops that have been organized by the Garut University Service Team provide new understanding and skills to SDN 1 Kulon City teachers in using various digital platforms that can support the learning process during the Covid 19 pandemic. The drawback of this activity is the limited facilities and infrastructure available owned by teachers to support digital-based learning, as there are still few teachers who have laptops or computers to support learning. Contribution: of this activity is to support schools to encourage the ability of educators to carry out digital-based learning, especially during the pandemic of COVID-19.

Edukasi Pemanfaatan Aplikasi Teknologi Finansial (Fintech) kepada Masyarakat Desa Kapita, Kabupaten Jeneponto, Sulawesi Selatan

Purpose: Financial technology (financial technology – fintech) is a breakthrough that connects directly between the financial sector and the general public. However, the understanding of fintech concepts and practices in rural areas is still under-explored. To solve this, this educational and service community activity aims to uncover the views and mindsets of rural communities on the urgency of using fintech applications in everyday life. Method: The selected target participants were the people of Kapita village, Jeneponto Regency, South Sulawesi, totaling 55 people. The method of implementation is carried out by describing the content and practices of Fintech with the lecture teaching. Next, simulate the use of one of the fintech applications directly via a smartphone. Finally, the evaluation is carried out with a questionnaire to measure the level of understanding and interest in people's behavior towards Fintech. Result: The results showed that the participants fintech understanding had not yet reached the specified target, but their interest and desire for the use of fintech in the future was very high. This could be a golden opportunity for the stakeholder to develop and maximize the early intention of the rural financial behavior. Conclusion: Based on the results, it can be concluded that this program was conducted succesfully and already fulfilled the planned goal. In the future, we also hope that this Fintech educational project could be an essential resource to stimulate the intention and attitude of the Kapita village community towards the development of financial technology use in Indonesia.

Pengembangan Citra Merek sebagai Identitas Merek “Arak Besan” dalam Menghadapi Kompetitor

Purpose: provide training and understanding of the importance of brands in product development and marketing. Method: Training and counseling for "Arak" beverage craftsmen, on a scheduled and programmed basis in Besan Village, as one of the "Arak" beverages producing villages. Result: The community and the "Arak" beverage craftsmen, have understood the importance of brands in marketing and distributing products as product identities and are able to compete with competitors, producers of similar products. Limitation: Limitations in cost and scope of training are limited to one village, so counseling and training are needed for "Arak" drink craftsmen in other villages. Education needs to be carried out on an ongoing basis. Contribution: This form of training, mentoring, and counseling provides benefits to the craftsmen and the “Arak” beverage community, the importance of brands in facing competition in the beverage business.
