Journal History

Jurnal Studi Ilmu Sosial dan Politik (Jasispol) is a national, peer-reviewed scientific journal established to support the development and dissemination of scholarly research in the fields of social and political sciences. Since its inception, the journal has provided an academic platform for researchers, academicians, and practitioners to exchange ideas, strengthen interdisciplinary dialogue, and publish research that addresses contemporary social and political issues, particularly within the Indonesian context.

Jasispol publishes high-quality manuscripts in the form of research articles, review papers, book reviews, and case studies that contribute to both theoretical advancement and practical understanding of social and political phenomena. To ensure academic integrity and quality, all manuscripts undergo a double-blind peer-review process and are screened using professional plagiarism detection software.

The journal is published by Penerbit Goodwood and is released biannually (June and December) in an online format. JASISPOL requires all submissions to be written in English to support international readability and wider scholarly engagement. Jasispol was first published in June 2021 with Vol. 1 No. 1 (2021).
