Jurnal Pemberdayaan Umat (JPU) is a peer-reviewed scientific journal that focuses on the publication of community service and community engagement activities aimed at improving the social welfare of Indonesian society. The journal was first published in 2022, with the goal of providing a platform for researchers, academics, and practitioners to disseminate findings from their community service projects and highlight the positive impacts of their work.

Since its launch, JPU has been published biannually, with two issues per year. The journal follows a consistent publication schedule in February and August, ensuring that research on community empowerment and development is shared on a regular basis to foster ongoing dialogue and knowledge exchange among scholars and practitioners.

The journal accepts a wide range of submissions, including empirical research, case studies, and program evaluations related to education, social development, economic empowerment, health, and public services, among others.
