The project adopted a participatory approach, including nutritional counseling, hands-on training using simple, locally sourced tools, and digital marketing workshops. Materials used were fresh milkfish, healthy additives, and packaging sourced from local markets. Pre- and post-tests, as well as follow-up surveys, were conducted to measure changes in knowledge, skills, and snack production rates.

Results/findings: The program successfully increased participants’ knowledge about nutrition and practical skills in producing healthy milkfish-based snacks. Several participants started small-scale production, selling snacks in their communities. The project also improved participants' digital marketing competencies.

Conclusion: Community service that focuses on innovative, healthy snacks using local resources, such as milkfish, can bridge nutritional knowledge-practice gaps, contribute to adolescent health, and foster economic opportunities for young women. This model is sustainable and replicable in other fishing communities.

Limitations: Milkfish snack innovation is limited by simple technology, cultural preferences, basic nutritional focus, limited digital marketing, and narrow youth coverage, requiring further studies in other regions.

Contribution: The contribution of this community service is to enhance nutritional knowledge, and develop healthy snack production skills, empower young women economically, optimize local milkfish production, and expand marketing through digital means.
Sri Prilmayanti Awaluddin, Rustam Rustam, Andi ummul Khair, Indrawan Azis, Nurani Nurani, Muntasir Muntasir Copyright (c) 2025 Sri Prilmayanti Awaluddin, Rustam Rustam, Andi ummul Khair, Indrawan Azis, Nurani Nurani, Muntasir Muntasir https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0 https://penerbitgoodwood.com/index.php/jamu/article/view/5269 Tue, 21 Oct 2025 00:00:00 +0700 Kemitraan Masyarakat Dalam Peningkatan Mutu dan Produksi VCO Mina Malole Rote Ndao https://penerbitgoodwood.com/index.php/jamu/article/view/5290
Purpose: This community service program is designed to increase the quantity and quality of pure coconut oil production. through a partnership with Mitra Mina Malole.

Methodology/approach: A participatory approach is implemented through training on VCO fermentation technology, mentoring on the use of appropriate tools, and regular implementation evaluations. The implementation team, comprising lecturers and students, collaborates directly with the partner community to transfer technology and monitor production outcomes.

Results/findings: The community service program demonstrated an increase in production capacity, from 10–13 bottles per day to 20–25 bottles in 100 mL packaging, as well as improved product quality, resulting in a more hygienic and high-quality product. The product has obtained a P-IRT label and permit, and marketing has begun to expand, contributing to increased income and welfare for the local community.

Conclutions: Community partnerships through appropriate technology and training have successfully improved the quality and production capacity of Virgin Coconut Oil in Ingguinak Village, increased family income, strengthened local business institutions, and expanded market access with more competitive and hygienic products.

Limitations: The limited time for implementation means that ongoing support is still very much needed. Limited access to logistics and infrastructure in remote areas means that product distribution is not yet optimal.

Contribution: This Program provides tangible socio-economic impacts for coconut farming communities. This program's recommendations can serve as a reference for developing broader community service policies and practices, supporting sustainable development, and strengthening local natural resource-based community economies.
Muntasir Muntasir, Muhajirin Dean, Matias Nataniel Kolobani, Cahyani Purnasari, Fatmawati Pua Upa Copyright (c) 2025 Muntasir Muntasir, Muhajirin Dean, Matias Nataniel Kolobani, Cahyani Purnasari, Fatmawati Pua Upa https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0 https://penerbitgoodwood.com/index.php/jamu/article/view/5290 Thu, 06 Nov 2025 00:00:00 +0700 Trainer Competence in learning Management at the Social Welfare Education and Training Center of the Ministry of Social Affairs https://penerbitgoodwood.com/index.php/jamu/article/view/6098
Purpose: This research aimed to describe the Competence of Lecturers in Managing Learning at the Social Welfare Education and Training Center of the Ministry of Social Affairs.

Research methodology: This research was a descriptive research method with a qualitative approach. The theoretical basis is embedded as a guide so that the research focus can adjust to the facts on the ground.

Results/findings: The Job Creation Law changes the context of environmental permits to environmental approvals. These changes have an impact on the context of environmental feasibility studies, both UKL-UPL and AMDAL. The implementation of the integration of environmental permits into business licenses becomes efficient through OSS.

Conclusion: The integration of environmental permits into business licenses under the Job Creation Law simplifies the licensing process, reducing costs and time for businesses. However, this has raised concerns about limited community participation and the potential weakening of environmental protections. While the system aims to balance economic growth with sustainability, it reduces the role of environmental assessments, which may impact long-term environmental governance.

Limitation: The limitation of this research is a description of the procedure for integrating environmental permits into business permits through OSS.

Contribution: The results of this study are expected to be used as a reference by further researchers in order to develop an analysis of related themes.
Ai Heni Nuraeni Copyright (c) 2025 Ai Heni Nuraeni https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0 https://penerbitgoodwood.com/index.php/jamu/article/view/6101 Thu, 30 Oct 2025 00:00:00 +0700
