The program focuses on increasing community awareness and participation through educational and participatory approaches.

Methodology/approach: The activities were carried out through lectures, counseling sessions, field observations, focus group discussions (FGDs), and direct assistance. Data were collected using questionnaires and observations related to family conditions, parenting patterns, and adolescent behavior.

Results/findings: The results showed an improvement in community understanding of the importance of proper parenting in preventing stunting. The counseling program and provision of supplementary feeding (PMT) to ten stunted children increased family nutritional awareness. Parenting education for mothers and socialization on juvenile delinquency through lectures on the dangers of drugs and the installation of anti-smoking banners encouraged active youth participation in the village.

Conclusions: This community empowerment program effectively enhanced family health awareness, improved parenting practices, and reduced juvenile delinquency behavior. The synergy between students, village authorities, and the community was a key factor in the program’s success.

Limitations: The short implementation period limited the measurement of long-term impacts on behavioral change within the community.

Contribution: This activity can serve as a model of education- and participation-based community empowerment to improve public health in rural areas.
2025-08-16T00:00:00+07:00Copyright (c) 2025 Dewi Setyawati, Taufik Kurrohman, Siswanto Siswanto , Ze Refaldi Mihalda, Rohmat Rohmat , Tika Rahmadhani, Rahma Safitri, Shalma Nabiqa, Maudy Arysta Fadilahhttps://penerbitgoodwood.com/index.php/JPU/article/view/5440Pelatihan Pembukuan Sederhana bagi Pelaku UMKM2025-08-27T14:09:33+07:00Hani Putri Monalikahani.putri.monalika@dosen.undira.ac.id
Purpose: This training aims to increase knowledge and understanding for MSME actors in learning simple bookkeeping for their business activities.

Methodology/approach: The method of this community service activity is to deliver material using seminar methods and limited discussions related to accounting material.

Result/findings: Based on the results of a face-to-face survey of MSMEs, the spread of COVID-19 has had a direct impact on the decline in their economic income. Several policies require everyone to maintain social distancing, children are on school holidays, and even home lockdowns. This has undoubtedly impacted the sales of some MSMEs, especially those selling daily necessities. Inventory of merchandise is also damaged and cannot be resold because it has expired.

Conclusions: 1) Bookkeeping systems, accounting cycles, and financial reports. 2) Partners are unable to prepare bookkeeping documents and record them in detail and neatly according to the accounting cycle. 3) Partners are unable to calculate profits in preparing financial reports according to the accounting cycle. 4) Marketing. Business actors lack understanding in selecting and determining market segments and market needs in their surrounding environment.

Limitations: This research only focuses on training related to simple bookkeeping of financial reports for MSME actors, other factors such as financial management, promotion, and others are not discussed further in this research.

Contributions: It is hoped that this training will enhance MSMEs' knowledge of financial reporting and increase their confidence in interacting with third parties, such as lending institutions and investors. It will also encourage investors to invest in this sector.
2025-08-25T00:00:00+07:00Copyright (c) 2025 Hani Putri Monalikahttps://penerbitgoodwood.com/index.php/JPU/article/view/5186Pemberdayaan Masyarakat dalam Upaya Pencegahan DBD dan Stunting di Kelurahan Sungaiselan 20242025-07-24T03:24:14+07:00Gita Fajriantiwidiyahebat@gmail.comMurniani Murniani widiyahebat@gmail.comWidiya Widiya widiyahebat@gmail.comAndini Maulinawidiyahebat@gmail.comHanif Adzany Suryantowidiyahebat@gmail.comWanda Novita Sariwidiyahebat@gmail.comNadia Amandawidiyahebat@gmail.comTiara Sintiawidiyahebat@gmail.comMiftahul Fauziwidiyahebat@gmail.com
Purpose: Knowing the health conditions and helping the community in efforts to improve optimal health levels in Sungaiselan Village, Sungaiselan District, Central Bangka Regency.

Methodogoly/approach: The methods used are in the form of health education and active participation, namely the target group participates in the activities.
